    Lived up to its reputation. Exceptional fried chicken great service. Pecan pie was especially good. Definitely a keeper. Would definitely go back again.

    Omg soooo good. We went here twice over a weekend and the waitress recognized us because we were her last table the night before and her first the day after. The chicken is delicious - we love dark meat. The breading is crispy with a sliiight kick and the meat is so juicy. Love the coleslaw and THE CHESS PIE! Get it with vanilla ice cream. It comes out warm and buuuuutttery.

    This will be an interesting review as I am a heat wimp and this place features spicy (for me) chicken. The things I do for my family...like watching them rejoice in my turning red with sweat protruding from my bald spot. We were near Memphis visiting relatives, so we made a trip to the city to tour and taste Old Dominion Distillery (some mighty good whiskey!). A quick check on the Yelps brought up this recommendation, right across the street from Old Dominion. All those stars had to mean something. This chicken was excellent. Juicy, crunchy, and even though a little too spicy for my taste, delicious. And the sides....mmmm. The staff was top-notch. Very friendly. Fast service. The ambiance was also perfect. The whole vibe including mixed-matched chairs gave a sense of neighborhood, non-pretentious, and relaxed. So despite my heat issues, I would eat here again and highly recommend it.
